Role Description This is a full time, on-site Machinist role based in Chennai. The Machinist will set up and operate manual and CNC machines to manufacture and repair injection mold components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting technical blueprints, selecting appropriate tools and materials, performing precise measurements,



and maintaining tight tolerances on finished parts. The role also involves routine equipment checks, basic troubleshooting of machining issues, and collaboration with engineers and toolmakers to improve processes and resolve production challenges. The Machinist is expected to follow all safety protocols, maintain a clean and organized work area, and document work performed to support quality and traceability.
Qualifications

• Experience with machining operations such as milling, turning, drilling, grinding, and basic CNC setup and operation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications with strong measurement and inspection skills.
• Knowledge of injection mold components, tooling practices, and general manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of shop safety procedures, safe machine operation, and proper handling of tools and materials.
