We are seeking an AV Engineer to support day-to-day Audio-Visual (AV) and Video Conferencing (VC) operations across global environments. The role involves monitoring AV/VC endpoints, troubleshooting user issues, supporting meetings and events, managing AV device inventory, and maintaining asset compliance. Robust hands-on knowledge of Cisco Webex is required.
Job Description
The AV Engineer will perform daily health checks of AV/VC endpoints, maintain checklists, and respond to support requests received through telephone and email. The engineer will troubleshoot issues remotely or provide on-site assistance when required.
The role also includes pre-testing meeting rooms for high-profile meetings, supporting auditorium and event activities, installing and reinstalling AV equipment, handling tickets and incidents, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders. The engineer will maintain global AV asset inventories, ensure CMDB compliance, create or remove Webex profiles,
and perform basic network troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform daily health checks of AV/VC endpoints and maintain operational checklists.
• Troubleshoot AV/VC issues remotely and provide on-site support when required.
• Conduct pre-testing of conference rooms for high-profile meetings.
• Install and reinstall display panels, AV devices, and Cisco IP Phones.
• Provide AV support for auditoriums, town halls, events, and virtual events.
• Handle AV-related tickets, raise incidents, and follow up with stakeholders.
• Provide AV/VC device support during planned weekend activities when required.
• Maintain global AV inventory and ensure CMDB compliance for collaboration devices.
