Job Description:

ASRS & Automation Maintenance

Ensure smooth functioning of ASRS systems including stacker cranes, conveyors, shuttles,

sensors, PLCs, drives, scanners, and automation controls.

Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities for ASRS equipment.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical faults to minimize

downtime.

Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for servicing, AMC activities, and system upgrades.

Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components.

Equipment & Utility Maintenance

Maintenance of conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, rollers, pneumatic systems, and material

handling equipment.

Ensure proper alignment, lubrication, calibration, and inspection of equipment.

Support utility maintenance activities whenever required.

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, breakdown reports, and service records.

Ensure adherence to TPM, CAPA, ISO, GMP, and safety standards.

Participate in audits and maintain compliance documentation.

Coordination & Improvement

Coordinate with warehouse, production, and engineering teams for smooth operations.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and reduction in downtime.





Support installation, commissioning, and modification activities for automation systems.

Required Skills & Competencies

Knowledge of ASRS systems and warehouse automation.

Understanding of PLC, VFD, sensors, barcode scanners, and conveyor systems.

Solid troubleshooting skills in electrical and mechanical systems.

Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.

Familiarity with TPM, CAPA, and maintenance documentation.

Vendor coordination and manpower handling skills.

Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualification & Experience

Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Automation

Engineering

Experience: 2 5 years in maintenance of ASRS, automation systems, conveyors, or material

handling equipment

Experience in FMCG / Manufacturing industry preferred
