Seeking a Specialist with 5 to 7 years of experience in Power BI to design develop and optimize interactive dashboards and dimensional data models
Job Description
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI leveraging Power Query and DAX for data transformation and calculations Design and implement dimensional data models including fact and dimension tables following star and snowflake schema principles Optimize data models and reports for performance and scalability to ensure productive data retrieval and visualization Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to understand data sources and business requirements Validate data accuracy and consistency by performing rigorous testing and troubleshooting discrepancies Apply data visualization best practices to create clear insightful and userfriendly reports Translate complex business needs into actionable Power BI solutions that drive decisionmaking Utilize knowledge of Dimensional Data Modeling to enhance data structure and reporting capabilities
Roles and Responsibilities
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards reports and data models aligned with business objectives Develop DAX measures calculated columns and implement rowlevel security RLS to ensure data governance Write optimized SQL queries to support data extraction and transformation processes Perform data validation transformation and performance tuning to maintain report accuracy and efficiency Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including data engineers analysts and business users to gather requirements and deliver insights Troubleshoot and resolve data reporting issues ensuring continuous improvement of BI solutions Document data models dashboard designs and development processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintenance Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices to enhance BI capabilities within the organization
