Job Summary

The Cashier is responsible for handling all billing and payment transactions accurately and efficiently in the jewellery showroom. The role requires a high level of integrity, attention to detail, and customer service, as the position involves handling high-value transactions.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle billing for gold, diamond, silver, and gemstone jewellery.
- Accurately process customer payments via cash, card, UPI, bank transfer, and cheque.
- Generate invoices, receipts, and credit notes using billing software.
- Verify jewellery weight, making charges, taxes (GST), and discounts before billing.
- Maintain daily cash balance and reconcile cash, card, and digital payments.
- Prepare daily sales reports and submit them to accounts/store manager.
- Safely handle cash and ensure proper storage as per company policy.
- Coordinate with sales staff for order billing, advances, and final settlements.
- Handle customer queries related to billing, payments, and invoices.
- Assist in gold exchange, old gold purchase billing, and scheme payments if applicable.




- Ensure compliance with GST and company accounting procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum Graduate / 12th Pass (Commerce preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience as a cashier in a jewellery or retail showroom.
- Knowledge of GST billing and jewellery billing formats.
- Familiarity with jewellery ERP or POS systems.
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Honest, reliable, and able to handle confidential financial information.
- Good communication and customer handling skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in gold exchange and old jewellery purchase billing.
- Knowledge of hallmarking and jewellery pricing structure.
- Basic accounting knowledge.

Working Conditions

- Weekends and festive season work required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
