Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and passionate IBDP English Teacher to teach English Language and Literature or English Literature to students in Grades 11 and 12. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop students’ critical thinking, analytical reading, and academic writing skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the IBDP curriculum and IB teaching standards.
- Teach English Language and Literature or English Literature, as assigned.
- Develop students’ reading, writing, literary analysis, and communication skills.
- Prepare students for IB assessments, including Individual Oral (IO), Paper 1, Paper 2, and other relevant assessment components.
- Guide students in textual analysis, essay writing,



interpretation, and critical thinking.
- Design lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and learning resources according to IB guidelines.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic improvement.
- Maintain accurate academic records and prepare student progress reports.
- Support students in developing independent learning and research skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues, coordinators, and parents to ensure students’ overall academic development.
- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development sessions, and school activities.
- Stay updated with IB curriculum changes, assessment criteria, and teaching methodologies.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Odisha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
