Position: Procurement Manager – AAC Block Manufacturing Plant

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead sourcing and purchasing activities for our AAC block manufacturing plant. The role is responsible for ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality-assured procurement of raw materials, consumables, spares, and capital equipment, while maintaining strong supplier relationships and supporting uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with production plans and business objectives.
- Source, evaluate, negotiate, and finalize suppliers for raw materials, consumables, machinery spares, packaging materials, and capital equipment.
- Procure key AAC manufacturing inputs such as cement, fly ash, sand, lime, gypsum, aluminium powder, and related additives.
- Manage supplier contracts, rate agreements, purchase orders, and supplier performance.
- Coordinate with production, quality, stores, and logistics teams to plan material requirements and avoid stock-outs.
- Monitor market prices, material availability, and supply risks to support cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Ensure procurement compliance with company policies, approved budgets, statutory requirements,



and ethical sourcing practices.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels to balance production continuity and working-capital efficiency.
- Use ERP systems for purchase requisitions, purchase orders, GRN coordination, tracking, and reporting.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities, alternate vendors, and process improvements in the supply chain.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of procurement experience, preferably in AAC blocks, building materials, cement, or heavy manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of AAC raw materials, consumables, plant spares, and equipment procurement.
- Robust negotiation, contract management, vendor development, and cost-control skills.
- Proficiency in ERP procurement modules and MS Excel.
- Professional certification such as CIPS or ISM is preferred.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
