- Manage GIS projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely completion of tasks and meeting client expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop project plans, and track progress against milestones.
- Utilize GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or MapInfo to create high-quality maps, reports, and visualizations.
- Provide technical guidance on geospatial analysis, data modeling, and database design to junior team members.
Job Requirements :
- 10-20 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering & construction industry.
- Robust understanding of GIS principles, including spatial databases, geodatabases, and web mapping technologies (ArcGIS Online).
- Proficiency in creating complex spatial datasets using various tools like POI files or shapefiles.
- Excellent navigation skills with ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with clients.
