job Summary

- We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with 3+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.

- The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, Java, API testing, REST Assured, Postman, and database testing.

- The candidate will be responsible for ensuring software quality, improving test coverage, and identifying defects across applications and services.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using **Playwright, Selenium, and Java**.

- Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.

- Conduct API testing using **Postman** to validate endpoints, HTTP status codes, request/response payloads, and API functionality.

- Develop and execute API automation scripts using **REST Assured**.

- Perform database testing using SQL queries to validate data integrity, CRUD operations, and backend data consistency.

- Identify, document, track, and retest defects using defect-tracking tools.

- Analyse test failures, investigate issues, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.

- Prepare and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases, automation scripts, and test execution reports.

- Contribute to improving automation frameworks,



test coverage, and overall QA processes.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of quality software.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in software testing, including test automation.

- Hands-on experience with **Playwright and Selenium**.

- Good programming knowledge of **Java**.

- Experience in API testing using **Postman**.

- Practical experience with **REST Assured** for API automation.

- Robust understanding of database testing and SQL queries.

- Knowledge of testing methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.

- Experience with test management and defect-tracking tools such as JIRA.

- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Git or other version control systems.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
