Role & responsibilities:

- Accounts Payable and Supplier Invoice Processing:
- End-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice receipt, verification, booking, payment scheduling and reconciliation.
- Review vendor invoices, purchase orders, work orders.
- Monitor pending invoices and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely processing.
- Payment Processing and Approval Coordination:
- Prepare payment proposals, payment batches and supporting documentation for review & approval.
- Track payment status, maintain payment records.
- Coordinate with banks to resolve payment failures, transaction discrepancies, etc.
- Vendor Reconciliation and Relationship Management:
- Perform regular vendor statement and ledger reconciliations.
- Coordinate with vendors, respond to vendor queries, etc.
- Foreign Currency Payments and Bank Coordination:
- Coordinate foreign currency payments to overseas vendors and service providers.
- Verify beneficiary details, invoices, payment instructions, etc.
- Support compliance with applicable tax,



foreign exchange, regulatory documentation etc.
- GST, TDS and Compliance Support:
- Apply working knowledge of GST and TDS requirements relevant to vendor invoices and payments.
- Identify applicable TDS provisions and rates, assist with GST input tax credit reconciliations, TDS reconciliations, etc.
- Employee Reimbursement Management:
- Review employee expense claims and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Process approved reimbursements.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho Books, SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Working knowledge of GST and TDS provisions applicable to accounts payable.
- Familiarity with payment documentation, invoice controls and accounting records.
- Solid coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, meet payment deadlines
