Trainee SOC Analyst Job Profile * Monitor security alerts and events generated from SIEM, EDR, firewall, and security tools. * Perform initial alert triage and identify suspicious activities requiring investigation. * Analyze security logs from Windows, Linux, Active Directory, network devices, and cloud platforms. * Assist in investigating security incidents such as malware, phishing, and unauthorized access attempts. * Escalate confirmed security incidents to senior SOC analysts (L1/L2) as per defined procedures. * Create and update incident tickets with accurate findings and observations. * Follow SOC playbooks, SOPs, and incident response procedures. * Monitor endpoint, network, email, and cloud security events. * Prepare daily monitoring reports and maintain security documentation. * Support 247 SOC operations and participate in shift handovers
