- Design and develop electronic circuits and PCBs (schematics, layout, component selection) for industrial and marine products.
- Write, test and debug embedded C/C++ firmware for microcontrollers and interface sensors and communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, RS-485/Modbus).
- Build, solder and test prototypes using lab equipment, and document test results for each revision.
- Support field trials and installations, and troubleshoot and repair faulty devices.
- Source components and PCB fabrication, and maintain design files, BOMs and manuals.
- Required Skills
- Must have: strong understanding of microcontrollers (e.g., STM32, ESP32, AVR/Arduino), including architecture, peripherals, interrupts and timers, with hands-on programming experience.
- Embedded C/C++ programming and debugging.
- Circuit design and PCB layout (KiCad, Altium, Eagle or similar).
- Soldering (including SMD) and use of a multimeter, oscilloscope and logic analyser.
- Valuable English proficiency for documentation and vendor communication.
