We are looking for an AR Caller to handle accounts receivable follow-up for US healthcare providers. The role involves contacting US insurance companies regarding unpaid, pending, denied, and underpaid medical claims to ensure timely reimbursement and improve collections.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to US insurance companies to follow up on outstanding medical claims.
- Check claim status, payment status, and denial reasons.
- Work on AR aging buckets, including 30, 60, 90, and 120+ days.
- Investigate rejected, denied, and underpaid claims.
- Review EOBs (Explanation of Advantages) and ERAs (Electronic Remittance Advice).
- Identify issues related to eligibility, authorization, coding, modifiers, and timely filing.
- Coordinate claim corrections, resubmissions, and appeals as per payer guidelines.
- Follow up on claims pending beyond the expected processing time.
- Maintain accurate call notes, payer reference numbers, and follow-up dates.
- Meet daily productivity, quality, and collection targets.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and company policies.
