Data Analytics

About the Role
Corporate Chanakya Services Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and analytical Data Analyst with 1 and 2 years of relevant experience in Python-based data analytics, data processing, and reporting. The ideal candidate must have practical knowledge of Python libraries used for data analysis and the ability to transform raw datasets into meaningful business insights.
The candidate will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, processing, analysing, and visualising data, developing reports and dashboards, identifying trends, and supporting data-driven business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collect, consolidate, clean, validate, and process data from multiple sources.
2. Use Python to perform data analysis, data manipulation, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and statistical analysis.
3. Work with Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy to process and analyse structured datasets.
4. Identify trends, patterns, correlations, anomalies, and inconsistencies in datasets.
5. Create meaningful charts and visualisations using Matplotlib, Seaborn, or similar libraries.
6. Write SQL queries to extract, filter, join, and analyse data from databases.
7. Use Microsoft Excel for data validation, calculations, data reconciliation, and reporting.
8. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau.
9. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly analytical reports, MIS reports, and performance summaries.
10. Automate repetitive data processing and reporting tasks using Python wherever feasible.
11. Validate data accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and maintain data quality.

Translate business requirements into analytical tasks and provide actionable insights to management.
13. Maintain proper documentation of datasets, analysis methods, KPIs, and reporting processes.
14. Handle company and client data responsibly and maintain strict confidentiality.

Required Technical Skills

- Python for Data Analytics (Mandatory): Python, Pandas, NumPy, exploratory data analysis (EDA), data cleaning, data manipulation, and visualisation using Matplotlib or Seaborn.
- SQL: SELECT, WHERE, JOINs, GROUP BY, ORDER BY, aggregate functions, subqueries, and data extraction.
- Microsoft Excel: Advanced formulas, PivotTables, PivotCharts, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, IF functions, conditional formatting, data validation, and Power Query.
- Power BI or Tableau: Dashboard development, KPI reporting, data visualisation, and basic data modelling.
- Statistics and Data Analysis: Descriptive statistics, averages, percentages, variance, trend analysis, correlation, and interpretation of results.

Preferred Skills

- Experience automating analytical workflows and recurring reports using Python.
- Familiarity with Jupyter Notebook or similar Python development environments.
- Knowledge of connecting Python to SQL databases or APIs.
- Experience combining data from multiple sources, including Excel, CSV files,



and databases.
- Basic understanding of predictive analytics, regression, and statistical modelling.
- Familiarity with Git or version-control tools is an advantage.

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Candidates with relevant certifications or practical projects in Python-based data analytics will be preferred.

Experience Requirements

- 1 and 2 years of relevant skilled experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, MIS Reporting, or a related role.
- Practical experience using Python for data analytics is mandatory.
- Candidates should demonstrate the ability to clean, analyse, and interpret real-world datasets.
- Experience creating analytical reports, dashboards, or automated data workflows will be an advantage.
