Role & responsibilities

- Examine, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with general surgical conditions.
- Provide outpatient department (OPD), inpatient department (IPD), emergency, and on-call surgical services as per the duty roster.
- Perform surgical procedures appropriate to the doctor's qualifications, training, experience, and assigned designation.
- Manage pre-operative assessment, surgical planning, informed consent, and post-operative care.
- Handle surgical emergencies, including acute abdominal conditions, trauma, gastrointestinal emergencies, and other general surgical cases within the scope of practice.
- Coordinate with anaesthesiology, radiology, pathology, critical care, and other relevant departments.
- Maintain accurate patient records, case sheets, operative notes, discharge summaries, and follow-up documentation.
- Ensure patient safety, infection prevention, surgical site safety, and adherence to established clinical protocols.

Preferred candidate profile

Candistae must have minimum of 2 year experience with MBBS+MS or MBBS+ DNB
