Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented XML Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for structuring, tagging, and formatting content into XML formats while ensuring accuracy and adherence to author instructions and publishing standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform XML tagging and parsing of content based on defined schemas and DTDs.
- Handle pagination tasks to ensure proper layout and formatting for digital and print outputs.
- Interpret and apply authors instructions accurately while incorporating them into XML files.
- Validate XML files for consistency, correctness, and compliance with project guidelines.
- Collaborate with editors, authors, and production teams to resolve content and formatting issues.




- Troubleshoot and fix errors related to XML structure, formatting, and rendering.
- Maintain documentation and follow best practices for XML workflows.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of XML tagging / parsing techniques.
- Hands-on experience with pagination tools and processes.
- Ability to understand and implement authors instructions in XML files with high accuracy.
- Familiarity with XML schemas, DTDs, and validation tools.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or related markup languages is a plus.
