Key Responsibilities

- DCS & Panel Operation: Monitor and control boiler parameters—including steam pressure, temperature, flue gas flow, and drum water levels—via DCS, SCADA, or PLC screens.

- Start-Up & Shutdown: Execute protected start-ups, planned shutdowns, and emergency isolation procedures for WHRB units.

- Alarm & Anomaly Handling: Respond to system alarms, troubleshoot process deviations, and coordinate corrective actions with field operators.

- Water & Combustion Management: Regulate feedwater pumps, monitor de-aerator systems, and track chemical/DM (Demineralized) water parameters to prevent scale and corrosion.

- Coordination & Logging: Maintain operational shift logs, record instrument readings, and communicate closely with field personnel and maintenance teams.

- Safety & Compliance: Ensure operations comply with safety interlocks, environmental emission standards, and the Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR).

Required Qualifications & Skills
