: Pattern Master Women's Wear (Export Manufacturing)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Pattern Master with a solid background in women's wear export manufacturing. The candidate must have hands-on experience developing production-ready patterns for garments manufactured for international buyers, ensuring accurate fitting, grading, and compliance with buyer specifications.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop and grade patterns for dresses, co-ord sets, kaftans, jumpsuits, and other women's wear.
- Convert design sketches, measurement charts, and physical samples into production-ready patterns.
- Conduct fit trials, identify fitting issues, and implement corrections before bulk production.
- Prepare and optimize fabric markers to minimize fabric consumption and wastage.
- Coordinate with sampling, cutting, and production teams to ensure pattern accuracy and production readiness.
- Follow international buyer specifications, size charts, fitting standards, and approved samples.
- Use CAD software for pattern development and grading, wherever applicable.





Preferred Candidate Profile

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pattern Master in women's wear garment manufacturing.
- Mandatory: Experience with an export-oriented garment manufacturing company catering to international buyers.
- Practical exposure to export orders, buyer specifications, sample approvals, and international fitting standards.
- Strong expertise in pattern making, grading, marker making, and fit corrections.
- Experience with dresses, co-ord sets, kaftans, jumpsuits, or similar women's wear categories.
- Knowledge of Gerber, Lectra, or Optitex CAD software preferred.
- Candidates with experience limited to domestic garment manufacturing will not be preferred.
