Role & responsibilities

1. Instrument Operation: Operate laboratory analytical instruments and equipment for various chemical testing and analysis.
2. Sample Analysis: Receive, prepare, and analyze samples as per approved laboratory methods and procedures.
3. Instrument Calibration: Assist in calibration, verification, and routine performance checks of laboratory instruments.
4. Testing & Documentation: Perform chemical tests accurately and maintain proper test records, worksheets, and analytical data.
5. Instrument Maintenance: Carry out routine cleaning and basic maintenance of laboratory instruments and report any equipment malfunction to the concerned person.
6. Quality Compliance: Follow laboratory SOPs, safety procedures, quality standards, and testing protocols during all activities.

Chemical Handling: Handle chemicals, reagents, standards, and laboratory samples safely as per established procedures.
8. Result Verification: Ensure test results are properly recorded and assist in identifying abnormal or inconsistent results.
9. Laboratory Records: Maintain instrument logbooks, calibration records, reagent records, and other required laboratory documentation.
10. Team Coordination: Coordinate with laboratory chemists and senior team members for testing activities, troubleshooting, and timely completion of assigned work.
