Experience in VMC machine setting and operation. Knowledge of CNC controls such as Fanuc or Siemens. Knowledge of tool setting, fixture setting, and work offsets. Ability to read engineering drawings and understand tolerances. Knowledge of measuring instruments and inspection methods. Basic knowledge of G-codes and M-codes. Experience in aerospace component manufacturing is an added advantage.
