Role Summary
As a Validation Engineer, the ideal candidate will ensure the reliability and performance of robotic systems at ARA's Client. They will design test frameworks and validate software and hardware interactions to meet quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust test frameworks for robotic systems.
- Troubleshoot system-level issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Lead end-to-end test processes and communicate results to stakeholders.
- Define validation criteria for re-testing across product variants.
- Continuously evaluate new technologies to improve test coverage.
- Develop and maintain test infrastructure and tools.
- Perform software and firmware testing using Python and ROS.
- Provide technical support throughout the development lifecycle.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with motion control or robotic platforms.
- Strong understanding of ROS and programming in C, C++, or Python.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
- Knowledge of documentation practices and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in JIRA or similar project tracking tools.
Nice to Have
- Experience in an Agile or Scrum-based development setting.
- Familiarity with safety validation and fault-injection testing.
- Exposure to user-based testing methodologies.
