Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Vijayawada for Shrimp/Fish Feed Sales at Japfa Comfeed India Pvt. Ltd. The role involves identifying and developing new customers in aquaculture, promoting Japfa’s shrimp and fish feed products, and maintaining strong relationships with farmers, distributors, and dealers.

The person in this role will conduct regular field visits, provide product and technical guidance to customers, and gather market insights on pricing, competitors, and customer needs. Daily responsibilities include achieving sales targets, managing orders and collections, coordinating with supply and logistics teams,



and preparing reports on sales performance and market developments. The role also requires participation in local promotions, demonstrations, and farmer meetings to support brand visibility and customer engagement.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid sales and relationship management skills, including field sales experience, customer engagement, and dealer/farmer network development.
- Candidates should possess aquaculture and feed-related knowledge, such as familiarity with shrimp/fish farming practices, nutrition basics, and practical understanding of feed application.
- Candidates should possess communication and negotiation skills, including clear verbal and written communication, presentation ability, and effective bargaining and conflict-resolution skills.
- Candidates should possess planning and reporting skills, including basic data analysis, documentation, MS Office proficiency, and regular sales and market reporting capability.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Aquaculture, Fisheries, Animal Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant experience in aquaculture or animal feed sales in the Vijayawada/Andhra Pradesh region is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in the field, travel frequently within the territory, and meet defined sales targets.
- Demonstrated integrity, customer-focused attitude, and willingness to learn and adapt to evolving market conditions.
