Python Backend Developer | Rapid API | Azure | SQL | API Development

Experienced Python Backend Developer with hands-on experience in developing and maintaining backend applications, REST APIs, data-processing workflows, and cloud-based solutions using Python, FastAPI, SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure.

Skilled in building API-driven applications, implementing business logic and CRUD operations, processing and transforming data using Python and Pandas, and integrating applications with databases and cloud services.

Hands-on experience with Azure services including Azure Logic Apps, Azure Function Apps, Azure Storage Accounts, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, and Databricks. Familiar with automating business processes, handling files and data between systems, and developing serverless/cloud-based workflows.

Experienced in working with Microsoft SQL Server, including writing SQL queries, retrieving and transforming data, modifying database schemas, and integrating SQL databases with Python backend applications.

Comfortable working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps for source-code management and application deployment.

Key Responsibilities / Experience

- Develop and maintain backend services using Python and FastAPI.
- Design and implement REST APIs for frontend and system-to-system integrations.
- Implement CRUD operations and application business logic.
- Integrate Python applications with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Write and maintain SQL queries for data retrieval, insertion, updates, deletion, and transformations.
- Perform data manipulation and transformation using Python and Pandas.
- Develop automated workflows using Azure Logic Apps.




- Build and maintain serverless workloads using Azure Function Apps.
- Work with Azure Storage Accounts for cloud-based data/file storage.
- Work with SharePoint for business file and data integration.
- Use Azure Databricks for data-processing-related workloads.
- Maintain code using Git and Azure DevOps.
- Support CI/CD pipelines for application build and deployment.
- Debug backend/API/database issues and handle scenarios such as missing or empty data.
- Create and maintain structured JSON API request/response models.
- Implement data-validation, exception-handling, and backend processing logic.
- Support cloud automation and integration between APIs, databases, files, email-driven workflows, and Azure services.
