Role Summary The Manager – Training Delivery owns execution of assigned training programs end-to-end — converting delivery plans into consistent, high-quality learner and client outcomes across trainer teams, cohorts, and client engagements. The role is the operational layer that translates delivery governance standards set at the account and leadership level into daily execution discipline: trainer readiness, session quality, learner engagement, and client-facing delivery confidence.
This is an execution and team-leadership role, not a reporting role. Success is measured by whether programs run predictably, trainers perform and grow, risks surface early rather than at the client review, and delivery data feeds upward into account-level performance intelligence rather than sitting in a spreadsheet.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Delivery Execution & Governance
- Own end-to-end delivery for assigned programs, cohorts, and client engagements, ensuring adherence to quality standards, delivery frameworks, and contractual SLAs.
- Plan and govern trainer scheduling, workforce allocation, and resource utilization against delivery commitments and business requirements.
- Maintain the operating cadence for each program — session tracking, milestone checkpoints, and delivery-readiness reviews — so deviations are caught before they become client-visible.
2. Team Leadership & Trainer Capability
- Lead, coach, and performance-manage a team of trainers and lead trainers, with structured feedback and capability-building interventions tied to observed session quality, not just tenure.
- Run trainer calibration cycles to keep delivery quality consistent across cohorts and geographies.
- Build a bench-readiness view of trainer capability so staffing decisions are proactive rather than reactive to attrition or scale-up requests.
3. Quality Assurance & Risk Management
- Establish and govern quality assurance mechanisms — session audits, learner feedback analysis, and corrective action planning — as a continuous loop, not a periodic exercise.
- Identify delivery risks (trainer gaps, engagement drop-off, SLA slippage) early and drive resolution through a defined escalation path, ensuring minimal impact on learner experience or client commitments.
- Escalate risks that exceed program-level authority — client-facing exposure, repeated SLA breach, or resourcing shortfalls — to the Senior Director with a explicit recommendation, not just a status update.
4. Performance Intelligence & Reporting
- Track and interpret delivery metrics across two tiers: leading indicators (trainer readiness, early engagement signals, session quality scores) that predict outcomes, and lagging indicators (CSAT/NPS, completion, certification) that confirm them.
- Translate program-level data into a structured performance narrative for account and leadership reviews — what happened, why, and what changes as a result — rather than a metrics dump.
- Feed program-level delivery data into the broader account performance intelligence system on a defined reporting cadence, in the format required for client and leadership consumption.
5. Stakeholder & Client Engagement
- Support client reviews and business discussions by presenting delivery performance, learner outcomes, risks, and improvement plans with delivery-level credibility.
- Act as the day-to-day delivery point of contact for assigned client stakeholders, maintaining delivery confidence between formal review cycles.
6. Continuous Improvement & Strategic Contribution
- Identify process gaps and implement best practices that improve trainer productivity, program consistency, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute delivery-ground-truth into scaling decisions — new program design,
trainer onboarding models, and capacity planning — as programs grow in size or complexity.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Training Delivery & Learning Operations Management
- Team Leadership, Coaching & Performance Management
- Trainer Capability Development & Calibration
- Quality Assurance & Delivery Governance
- Data-Driven Delivery Intelligence — distinguishing leading signals from lagging results
- Risk Management & Escalation Discipline

- Stakeholder & Client Management
- Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Communication, Presentation & Executive-Level Reporting
- Working familiarity with digital and AI-enabled delivery tools (scheduling, analytics dashboards, learner engagement platforms)
Experience:
- 8–12 years of experience in Training Delivery, Learning Operations, L&D;, EdTech, Workforce Development, or Learning Services.
- 3+ years of people management experience leading trainer or delivery teams.
- Proven experience managing large-scale training programs, delivery operations, quality governance, and stakeholder relationships.
- Experience working with enterprise clients, digital learning environments, or blended learning programs is preferred; exposure to global or multi-geography delivery is a plus.
Position Within the Delivery Organization: This role sits within the Customer Success & Delivery function, reporting to the Senior Director – Customer Success & Delivery. It carries program- and cohort-level ownership; it does not carry account-level commercial or client-strategy ownership, which remains with the Senior Director and account leadership. The Manager – Training Delivery is the layer that converts governance standards into execution reality and surfaces ground-truth delivery data upward.
