Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Specialist with strong expertise in automation testing, Playwright, microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience validating complex backend workflows, Kafka-based integrations, data-intensive applications, and financial transactions across enterprise-scale systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and Java and/or Python.
- Build and execute automated test suites for microservices-based applications, REST APIs, and backend services.
- Validate Kafka-based event-driven workflows, including message delivery, consumer processing, data integrity, and asynchronous communication.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across distributed applications.
- Validate complex datasets, backend transactions, and data transformations using SQL, PostgreSQL, and Azure SQL.
- Test applications involving batch and real-time data processing to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Validate financial workflows involving account balances, transactions, debit/credit flows, and reconciliation.
- Conduct performance, load, and stress testing using JMeter, Locust, or equivalent tools.
- Test cloud-based applications and data workflows using Azure services such as AKS, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Blob Storage.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitLab.




- Identify, document, and troubleshoot defects, collaborating with development, DevOps, and business teams for timely resolution.
- Improve automation coverage, framework reusability, test execution efficiency, and overall product quality.
- Work within Agile teams and contribute to test planning, execution reporting, and continuous quality improvement.

Required Skills &

Experience :

- 7 - 11 years of experience in QA, test automation, or quality engineering for enterprise-scale applications.
- Solid hands-on experience with Playwright and automation testing frameworks.
- Experience with microservices architecture, REST API testing, and backend automation.
- Hands-on exposure to Kafka and event-driven systems, including consumer validation and message integrity checks.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL and/or Azure SQL.
- Experience testing data-intensive applications involving batch and real-time processing.
- Familiarity with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter or Locust.
- Automation scripting experience using Java and/or Python.
- Exposure to Azure services, particularly AKS, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Blob Storage.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitLab.
- Strong understanding of financial data concepts, including balances, transactions, debit/credit flows, and reconciliation.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
