Your Task

We are seeking a SAP HCM Time Management Expert to focus on handling and solving incidents from users and HR Key Users. This role involves understanding and consulting for requirements around time management as well as implementing according to requirements in time management of SAP HCM. The position specifically focuses on implementing requirements and bug fixes in large, complex, and location-specific schemes and rules that are legacy bound. This role requires 6-9 years of expert-level experience. The current situation presents a challenge as there is no expert level skillset for time management in SAP HCM internally available.

Key Responsibilities

- Handling incidents from users and HR Key users
- Consulting in the field of time management for the regions DE including German laws and regulations
- Customizing in the area of time management
- Schemes and rules in the area of time management:
- Analysis and consulting
- Customization and editing
- Creation of new schemes and rules

- Enhancement of infotypes
- Modifications and adaptations of customizing tables
- Working time models:

- Creating new working time models
- Adjusting existing working time models
- Transfers in schemas and rules

- Work schedules:

- Create new work schedules
- Adjust existing work schedules
- Transfers in schemes and rules

- Presence, absence, and quotas including rules:

- Analysis and consulting
- New installation and creation
- Adaptation of existing implementations

- PTMW and time sheet:

- Analysis and consulting
- Customizings of PTMW and time sheet

- Integration to Payroll:

- Analysis and consulting
- Check premium logic
- Change premium logic
- Introduce new premium logic
- Analysis, editing, and introduction of time management wage types

Your Profile

We are seeking an SAP HCM Time Management Expert with extensive experience in handling complex time management implementations, particularly under German law and regulations, with deep expertise in schemes, rules, and integration with payroll systems.





Must Have Skills

- 6-9 years of expert-level experience in SAP HCM
- 3 to 5 years of experience in time management in SAP HCM with implementations under German law and German regulations
- Deep knowledge of Schemes and Rules in SAP HCM
- Expertise in Schemes and Rules for time management in SAP HCM
- Knowledge of SAP HCM time management entities including working time models, work schedules, PTMW, and time sheet
- Experience with working time models
- Experience with work schedules
- Experience with PTMW and time sheet
- Knowledge of integration to Payroll
- Basic knowledge of PA (Personnel Administration) and OM (Organizational Management)
- Experience in handling and solving incidents from users and HR Key Users
- Consulting skills in the field of time management
- Experience with customizing in the area of time management
- Experience with enhancement of infotypes
- Experience with modifications and adaptations of customizing tables
- Knowledge of presence, absence, and quotas including rules
- Experience with premium logic analysis and implementation

Nice to Have Skills

- Experience working in an ITIL oriented operation environment
- Experience with installing Support Packs
- ABAP programming in the area of time management
- Knowledge of time management in SuccessFactors
- Knowledge of dependencies of time management and HR Portal (ESS/MSS)
- Consulting in the field of time management for the regions FR (France), CH (Switzerland), DK (Denmark), including region specific laws and regulations
- Knowledge about payroll in SAP HCM
- Experience with BCOMM HCM from dormakaba for time terminals
- Experience with monitoring of the application
- Experience with incident handling for time terminals




- Experience checking the availability of connected terminals
- Experience setting up new terminals
- Experience with configuration changes to terminals
