Role Description The Technical SEO Specialist will be responsible for optimizing client websites to improve organic search visibility, site performance, and crawl efficiency. Day-to-day tasks include conducting technical SEO audits, analyzing site structure, managing redirects, optimizing page speed, and ensuring proper indexing and crawlability.

The role will also involve collaborating with content, design, and development teams to implement SEO best practices, monitor rankings and traffic, and prepare performance reports with actionable insights. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area, requiring close coordination with internal stakeholders and client contacts.

Qualifications

- Strong technical SEO skills, including experience with site audits, crawl analysis, index management, canonicalization, and resolving technical issues affecting search visibility.




- Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
- Valuable understanding of web technologies, including basic HTML/CSS, JavaScript implications for SEO, sitemap and robots.txt configuration, and structured data (schema markup).
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, content creators, and marketing specialists, to implement SEO recommendations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret data and translate findings into clear optimization strategies.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts in accessible language to non-technical stakeholders.
- Prior experience in an agency or multi-client environment is an advantage; experience in creative or digital-first industries is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
