Technical Sales & CRM Executive – Water Treatment Chemicals

Role Overview
We are looking for Technical Sales & CRM Executives with basic practical experience in industrial water treatment. The role focuses on technical customer calling, IndiaMART lead handling, CRM follow-ups and sales coordination. You should be able to understand basic customer requirements and confidently handle initial discussions on water and wastewater treatment chemicals.
Key Responsibilities
- Make technical sales calls using the company's existing customer database.
- Handle and qualify IndiaMART, website, WhatsApp and incoming sales enquiries.
- Understand basic customer requirements for ETP, STP, RO, Cooling Tower and Boiler treatment.
- Discuss suitable product requirements at an initial technical level.
- Record and update all leads, calls, follow-ups and opportunities in the CRM system.
- Follow up on quotations, samples, trials and pending customer requirements.
- Pass qualified technical enquiries to the senior Technical Sales team.
- Maintain regular follow-up with prospective and existing customers.
- Support lead generation and customer database development.
- Prepare daily and weekly lead and follow-up reports.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 1–2 years in water treatment, industrial chemicals or technical sales.
- Preferred qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, Diploma/B.E. in Chemical Engineering, or a relevant technical background.
- Basic practical knowledge of ETP, STP, RO, Cooling Tower and Boiler systems.
- Previous exposure to industrial customers or field visits.
- Good communication and technical calling skills.
- Confidence in handling B2B customer enquiries.
- Basic knowledge of CRM, Excel and email communication.
- Strong follow-up and customer coordination skills.
Preferred Background Experience with a water treatment chemical, water treatment plant, specialty chemical or industrial chemical company.
