- System-level debugging and performance optimisation
- Multi-threaded and concurrent software design

Messaging & Protocols

- MQTT
- Sparkplug B
- JSON-based messaging frameworks
- Modbus (preferred)
- CCN (preferred)

DevOps & Automation

- CircleCI
- Continuous Integration (CI)
- Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CD)
- Build and release automation
- Source control and code quality tools

Device Management

- Canonical Snap Packaging and Management
