: Technical Lead (DevOps Engineer)

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with 8-12 years of experience in DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD pipeline management, and infrastructure monitoring. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure to support application development and deployment.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, containerization, orchestration tools, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with development, QA, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application build, testing, and deployment.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Monitor application performance, infrastructure health, availability, and system reliability.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or equivalent platforms.
- Manage Linux servers, networking, access controls, and system configurations.
- Implement DevOps best practices to improve deployment frequency, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Identify and troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, performance, and production-related issues.
- Implement security best practices,



vulnerability management, secrets management, and compliance controls within DevOps workflows.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to streamline software delivery.
- Manage backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity processes.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and infrastructure costs.
- Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.
- Mentor junior DevOps engineers and contribute to technical decision-making and process improvements.

Required Technical Skills

- DevOps & CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP.
- Containerization: Docker and Kubernetes.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools.
- Configuration Management: Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Operating Systems: Strong knowledge of Linux and basic Windows Server administration.
- Version Control: Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- Scripting & Automation: Python, Bash, Shell scripting, or PowerShell.
- Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, CloudWatch, or equivalent tools.
- Networking: DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancers, firewalls, VPNs, and network security.
- Security: IAM, secrets management, access control,



vulnerability scanning, and DevSecOps practices.
- Databases: Basic understanding of database deployment, connectivity, backup, and performance monitoring.
- Troubleshooting: Robust analytical and problem-solving skills for production environments.

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, or DevOps will be an added advantage.

Experience & Competencies

- 8-12 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Automation.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining production-grade CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, distributed systems, container orchestration, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience managing production deployments and troubleshooting critical incidents.
- Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication, documentation, and mentoring skills
