Role Summary:

Voya Financial's Identity & Access Management (IAM) organization is expanding its use of AI to modernize how we secure, govern, and operate identity across CyberArk, SailPoint, Active Directory, Entra ID, Varonis, Microsoft Purview, Conjur, and our broader cloud identity estate. We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to bring foundational CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure skills to this effort, helping the team build the pipelines, environments, and operational tooling that let AI-assisted IAM engineering move quickly without compromising security or compliance.

You will work alongside senior IAM engineers and AI and automation engineers, applying DevOps practices to a domain where the systems being automated, including privileged access, identity governance, and directory services, carry an outsized blast radius.



This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to grow DevOps skills in a security-first, highly regulated workplace while gaining early exposure to applied AI tooling.

Roles & Responsibility:

Two or more years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or software engineering. Internships and substantial academic projects count toward this experience.

Hands-on experience with at least one CI/CD platform, such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar.

Working knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language: Python preferred, PowerShell, or Bash.

Basic familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools such as Terraform, ARM or Bicep, Ansible, or similar.

Exposure to containerization with Docker and cloud platforms, preferably Azure.

Understanding of Git version control workflows and code review practices, with comfort using GitHub or Azure DevOps.

Interest in identity and access management concepts and how automation and AI tooling apply to a security-sensitive domain.

Ability to follow structured security guardrails and escalate rather than bypass controls when something feels off.

Clear written communication skills for documenting pipelines, processes, workflows, and other instruction sets.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related eld, or equivalent practical experience.
