Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Lead to oversee the implementation of the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF) Scheme in Punjab. The candidate will be responsible for project management, stakeholder coordination, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely achievement of scheme targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate the overall functioning of the State Project Management Unit (SPMU) for effective implementation of the AIF Scheme.
- Develop implementation strategies, action plans and roadmaps to achieve state-level targets.
- Coordinate with the Department of Horticulture, Government of Punjab, banks, SLBC, district-level committees and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify implementation challenges and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Guide and supervise the SPMU team and ensure timely completion of assigned activities and deliverables.
- Support awareness campaigns, promotional activities, workshops and capacity-building programmes for farmers, FPOs, agri-entrepreneurs and other beneficiaries.
- Oversee preparation of project reports, MIS, presentations and progress updates for submission to the concerned authorities.




- Provide technical guidance and handholding support for DPR preparation, project proposals, loan applications and coordination with lending institutions.
- Monitor project implementation through field visits and review meetings.
- Ensure proper documentation, quality of deliverables and compliance with the directions of the Department and scheme guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: MBA/Master’s degree in Management, Agri-Business Management, Rural Management or Operations.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project management, preferably involving large-scale projects.
- Experience in stakeholder management, government projects, agriculture or allied sectors will be preferred.
- Knowledge of production standards, certification and traceability will be an added advantage.
