About the Organisation
SIP Abacus is India's leading abacus programme, established in India for over 18 years, with more than 1100 centres across 23 states, 5000 course instructors and over 1.5 million children trained. We offer abacus and phonics programmes for children aged 6 to 12, and we are inviting applications for the role of Course Instructor.
Role Overview The Course Instructor conducts abacus and phonics classes for small batches of children, following a structured curriculum. Each batch meets twice a week for 1.5-hour sessions. The instructor is responsible for delivering lessons, tracking each child's progress, and maintaining regular communication with parents.
Training and Certification
Selected candidates undergo ISO certified, international-level training before they begin teaching. Abacus training is provided on a pay-and-earn basis, allowing candidates to learn the methodology while earning. Prior teaching experience is not required,
as the training programme prepares instructors fully for the classroom.
Compensation
Instructors earn between ₹2000 and ₹5000 per batch, depending on batch size and experience. Compensation at SIP Abacus is among the highest paying in the education sector.
Schedule and Workload
Batches are scheduled on weekday evenings and through the day on Saturdays and Sundays. Instructors choose the number of batches they wish to take on, and may increase their workload as they gain experience. This makes the role well suited to candidates looking for flexibility.

1. Graduate in any discipline.
2. Good communication skills in English.
3. A genuine interest in teaching and working with children.
