Languages, Scripting, Operating Systems

- Advanced PowerShell for Windows endpoint automation (DSC, remoting, WMI/CIM); Bash as useful complement
- Windows 11 endpoint management: Operating System build, registry, policy, troubleshooting, vulnerability remediation
- Proficiency in Python, Go, and/or Java is preferred
- Schema design and validation (YAML, JSON)

API Development & Integration
- REST API consumption/integration; Microsoft Graph preferred
- Authentication and authorization patterns (OAuth2, OIDC, certificate-based auth)
- Experience integrating with third-party APIs at scale

CI/CD & DevOps
- Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD (pipeline-as-code, dynamic child pipelines, DAG, workplace-scoped variables, manual and automated gates)
- Git workflows including branching strategies, merge request automation, and protected branches
- Git/source control, peer review, testable remediation logic, operational runbooks, audit-ready evidence
- Infrastructure as code
- Familiarity with progressive delivery patterns (ring-based promotion, canary, blue-green)

Testing & Quality
- Test framework development (pytest, Robot Framework, PowerShell Pester, or equivalent)
- Performance and regression testing; experience with desktop/VDI performance tools (Login VSI or equivalent) is a plus
- Designing threshold-based automated quality gates for deployment pipelines

Observability & Data
- Telemetry/event ingestion and log correlation to identify recurring endpoint remediation failure patterns




- Dashboarding and compliance reporting: Power BI, Grafana, data reconciliation, SLA/closure reporting
- VDI/desktop performance validation; CIS/STIG baseline automation and compliance evidence

System Experience
- Intune and/or SCCM/MECM remediation workflows: detection logic, deployment rings, retries, failure analysis, rollback
- SCCM Task Sequence operating system deployment knowledge (preferred)
- ServiceNow VR or similar: VIT/VUL lifecycle, assignment, deferral, false-positive routing, closure evidence, SLA impact
- Vulnerability scanner data: Qualys, Tenable, Defender, or equivalent; ability to distinguish actionable vs. stale findings
- SQL and data reconciliation across scanner data, ServiceNow VR, endpoint inventory, CMDB/asset sources, and reporting
- Familiarity with endpoint management ecosystems (Intune, SCCM/MECM, Tanium, Nexthink, JAMF and BigFix)
