To carry out carpentry, furniture repair, installation, and maintenance work across the college campus, ensuring that classrooms, laboratories, offices, hostels, and other facilities remain protected and functional.

Key Responsibilities

- Repair and maintain desks, benches, chairs, tables, cupboards, doors, windows, and other wooden furniture.

- Carry out carpentry work for classrooms, laboratories, libraries, offices, hostels, and administrative buildings.

- Install, repair, and adjust doors, locks, hinges, handles, shelves, and partitions.

- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and finish wood and other carpentry materials as required.

- Attend maintenance complaints and complete assigned work within the stipulated time.

- Assist with furniture shifting, installation, and arrangements for college events and examinations.





- Inspect furniture and wooden fixtures periodically and report damage or safety hazards.

- Maintain carpentry tools, equipment, and materials properly.

- Follow workplace safety procedures and ensure proper housekeeping after completing work.

- Maintain records of maintenance activities and material consumption, as required.

- Coordinate with the maintenance team and other departments for timely completion of work.

Educational Qualification

- ITI in Carpentry or a relevant trade is preferred.

- Candidates with relevant practical experience may also be considered.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
