The company’s vision is to ‘Empower the Green Economy, through a reliable, end-to-end supply chain for Biomass, Biofuels and other Bio-Products’. BiofuelCircle is enabling a circular economy for Agri-waste, generating rural empowerment & reducing carbon footprint with vision of a Sustainable economic growth for all.

Headquartered in Pune- India, this young technology driven services company, has already created a solid presence in India’s fledgling bioenergy sector. Within 2 years of commercial launch of its services, BiofuelCircle boasts of close to 1,000 business subscriber and a reach to > 10,000 farmers across 4 Indian states. Its E-Commerce marketplace currently handles annual transactions of > Rs 200 crores.

The company also has field offices in Ahmedabad, New Delhi, and Chennai to drive business in local markets.

Having established its digital platform-based business model, BiofuelCircle is now expanding its business and also widening its services portfolio. The company plans to grow its team and add more field locations.

What will Key Tasks be involved?

Strategic leadership + operational excellence + measurable business impact:

- Supply chain Strategy & Planning

1. Develop and implement end-to-end supply chain strategies aligned with the business objectives
2. Leaddemand planning, supplyplanning,



inventory planning, and capacity planning
3. Optimize the supplychain network toimprove service levelsand reduce overallcosts.
4. Drive S&OP;/IBP processes andensure alignment betweenSales, Operations, Procurement, and Finance.

- Procurement & Supplier Management

1. Lead Strategic sourcing, supplier selection, negotiations and contract management
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships thru quality, cost delivery and service level KPI’s
3. Identify alternate suppliers and develop risk mitigation plan for critical material

- Inventory and cost Optimization

1. Establish inventory policy and optimize RM, WIP, FG and safety stock levels
2. Reduce excess, obsolete, slow moving inventory
3. Drive working capital improvement thru inventory reduction for better cash flow management
4. Identify and implement cost reduction and value engineering initiative

- Logistics and Distribution

1. Manage inbound and outbound , warehousing and transportation operations
2. Improve OTIF, OTD
3. Ensure efficient coordination between plants, warehouse supplier and customers

- Team and Leadership

1. Lead and develop cross functional supply chain team
2. Set Department KPI’s , review performance and establish continue improvement goals
3. Mentor managers and team members to build high performance supply chain organization
