Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Management / Material Management professional to join our team in the Panchkula office. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in warehouse and inventory management, production planning and material requirements planning.

The role will be responsible for managing materials required for software production, including CDs, DVDs, USB flash drives, packaging materials, and ensuring seamless procurement, production, and delivery operations. The role will also be responsible for aligning inventory requirements with demand forecasts, ensuring the availability and effective movement of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished goods, and supporting compliance, quality-focused assembly, packaging and supply chain operations.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end material and supply chain operations, including warehouse management, inventory control, receiving, storage, issuance, and dispatch.

Perform production planning by mapping bills of material (BOM)



to current demand forecasts and preparing inventory and material requirement plans accordingly.

Plan and monitor the complete material lifecycle covering raw materials, semi-finished goods, finished goods, and assembly processes.

Maintain optimal inventory levels by monitoring demand, consumption, lead times, safety stock, shortages, ageing, and slow- or non-moving materials.

Use SAP to manage material master data, inventory transactions, stock movements, production requirements, and operational reports as well as exposure to Salesforce capabilities.

Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Quality, Finance, Sales, and Logistics teams to ensure material availability and timely fulfilment of operational requirements.

Ensure compliance with applicable policies, standard operating procedures, audit requirements, and quality management standards across warehouse and material operations.

Investigate and resolve inventory variances, material shortages, quality issues, and process gaps; implement corrective and preventive actions as required.

Track supply chain and warehouse performance metrics and drive continuous improvement in inventory accuracy, material availability, quality, and operational efficiency.

Non-negotiable skills:

7 to 10 years of relevant experience in material management, supply chain management, warehouse operations, inventory control, or production planning.

Hands-on experience in production planning, BOM-based material requirements planning, and demand forecast alignment.

Strong understanding of raw material, semi-finished goods, finished goods, warehouse, and assembly process cycles.

Proficiency in SAP MM and inventory management processes.

Working knowledge of compliance requirements, quality management systems, audits, and standard operating procedures.

Strong analytical, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and stakeholder management skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Good to have skills:

Knowledge of GIS and Esri Technology.
