To supervise and manage end-to-end execution of transmission line foundation works, ensuring completion as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety norms, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Handle end-to-end execution of transmission line foundation works,

including marking, excavation, PCC, reinforcement, concreting, curing, and backfilling.

Interpret and execute work as per approved foundation drawings, soil reports, and technical specifications.

Coordinate with survey, engineering, QA/QC, safety, vendors, and contractors for smooth execution of foundation activities.

Plan daily work activities and deploy manpower, machinery, and materials efficiently at site.

Ensure foundations are completed within approved timelines and as per project schedules.

Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure compliance with approved ITPs,

QAPs, and standards.

Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures and statutory norms at site.

Maintain and update site records, including daily progress reports (DPR),

pour cards, cube test records,



and measurement books.

Coordinate for inspection and approvals from client / consultant for foundation works.

Identify site issues such as soil conditions, access constraints, or design deviations and escalate for timely resolution.

Ensure proper material storage, usage, and reconciliation at site.

Support tower erection readiness by ensuring foundation completion and clearance.

Manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with contractual scope and productivity norms.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of transmission line foundation works (including normal,

pile, rock, and special foundations).

Ability to read and interpret foundation drawings and technical specifications.

Experience in end-to-end site execution and supervision.

Knowledge of quality control, safety practices, and site documentation.

Good coordination and team management skills.

Basic knowledge of measurement and billing support.

Problem-solving skills in site execution challenges.

Qualification

Diploma / ITI / B.E. in Civil Engineering (preferred).

Relevant experience in EHV / HV transmission line projects.
