Role Description The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the school’s store, including inventory management, merchandising, and ensuring a clean, organized environment. This full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi involves supervising store staff, scheduling shifts, and monitoring performance to maintain high operational standards.

The Store

Manager will handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience for students, parents, and visitors. Daily tasks include managing cash and payment processes, tracking stock levels, coordinating with suppliers, implementing retail loss prevention measures,



and preparing basic sales and inventory reports. The role also requires collaborating with school administration to support academic activities and promotional initiatives related to learning materials and technology products.

Qualifications

- Strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a focus on providing supportive, respectful interactions to diverse stakeholders.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to explain store policies and product information.
- Experience in Store Management, including inventory oversight, staff coordination, and day-to-day retail operations.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, such as monitoring stock discrepancies, implementing basic security measures, and following cash-handling protocols.
- Relevant experience in retail, education supply stores, or similar environments; prior supervisory experience is an advantage.
- Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems, spreadsheets, and inventory tracking tools.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work reliably in a fast-paced in office environment.
