Role Description The Store Manager role is a full time, on-site position based in Korba.

The Store

Manager is responsible for overseeing all store operations, including inventory management, stock receiving and issuing, and ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping. This role involves coordinating with project and procurement teams to maintain optimal stock levels for construction materials, tools, and equipment.

Manager monitors store safety and housekeeping standards, implements loss prevention measures, and ensures adherence to company policies and procedures. Daily responsibilities also include supervising store staff,



resolving operational issues, maintaining customer and internal stakeholder satisfaction, and preparing regular reports on stock movement and store performance.

Qualifications

- Strong store management skills, including experience in inventory control, stock handling, and warehouse/store operations.
- Customer service and customer satisfaction skills, with the ability to support internal teams and stakeholders effectively.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with site teams, procurement, and management, and for maintaining clear documentation.
- Experience with retail loss prevention or material loss control, including implementing safeguards against shrinkage, damage, and misuse.
- Knowledge of basic store accounting, record-keeping, and stock reconciliation procedures.
- Ability to work on-site in an industrial or construction environment, with attention to safety and compliance standards.
- Prior experience as a Store Manager, Store In-Charge, or similar role in construction, engineering, or industrial projects is preferred.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software or ERP systems and basic MS Office tools.
- Minimum qualification of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, commerce, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
