We are currently looking for a State Credit Head for our Business Loan (Unsecured SME) vertical to be based out of our Rajendra Place, Delhi office.

About the Role

State Credit Head – Business Loans (Unsecured SME) based at Rajendra Place, Delhi, responsible for leading credit underwriting, risk assessment, and portfolio management for Unsecured Business Loans / SME Lending, while managing a team of Credit Managers/Underwriters at a state or multi-location level.

Responsibilities

- Position Overview
- Role: State Credit Head – Business Loans (Unsecured SME)
- Location: Rajendra Place, Delhi
- Experience: 10–15+ years in NBFCs/Banks, with dedicated expertise in Unsecured Business Loans / SME Lending.
- Mandatory Requirement: Direct experience managing a team of Credit Managers/Underwriters at a state or multi-location level.

- Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and drive productivity for a team of Area/Regional Credit Managers and Underwriters across the state.
- Credit Underwriting & Risk Assessment: Evaluate complex financial statements, P&L;, Balance Sheets, GST returns,



and banking profiles for high-value business loans.
- Portfolio Management: Maintain strict governance over credit quality, early mortality, and delinquency levels across the regional portfolio.
- Operations & Process TAT: Maintain fast turnaround times from login to disbursal while ensuring 100% adherence to policy, FCU, and audit guidelines.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Work in tandem with Sales and Operations leadership to enable seamless, compliant business growth.

Qualifications Graduation.

Required Skills

- Solid expertise in Unsecured Business Loan / SME Credit Underwriting.
- Proven team handling and people management capability (State/Regional level).
- Deep financial analytical skills (GST, Banking, Balance Sheet scrubbing, Income Tax Returns).
- Strong communication, decision-making, and risk-evaluation abilities.
