We are seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer with strong expertise in Power BI and working experience in Power Apps or Power Automate . The individual will develop and optimize business intelligence solutions, lead projects, manage stakeholder relationships, and translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

The candidate should be capable of working as both an individual contributor and a team leader, understanding project and program management workflows, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and designing technical solutions for new business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Power BI Development

Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.

Use advanced Power BI features, including DAX, Power Query, and data transformations.

Work with large datasets and optimize reports and dashboards for performance.

Power Apps Development

Design and implement Power Apps solutions to automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.

Integrate Power Apps with backend systems where required.

Power Automate Development

Create and manage automated workflows to streamline business processes.

Automate data refreshes, notifications, data ingestion, and integrations with external systems.

SQL Server Expertise

Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures.

Support database querying,



data extraction, transformation, and performance optimization.

Integrate SQL Server data with Power BI reporting solutions.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

Lead and mentor developers, provide technical guidance, and ensure timely delivery of quality solutions.

Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

Stakeholder Management

Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand business requirements.

Translate business needs into actionable BI solutions and communicate project progress and outcomes.

Individual Contribution

Independently handle complex reporting requirements and technical challenges.

Deliver solutions within agreed timelines and quality standards.

Data Integration and ETL

Integrate data from SQL Server, cloud-based systems, third-party APIs, SharePoint, Excel, and other sources.

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and smooth ETL processes.

Performance Optimization and Documentation

Optimize Power BI reports, dashboards, and complex queries.

Maintain technical documentation and follow data governance, security, and reporting best practices.

Must-Have Skills:

- 8+ years of experience designing, developing,



and deploying Power BI solutions.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, Power BI Service, and Power BI Report Server.
- Robust experience working with large datasets and optimizing report performance.
- Expertise in SQL for complex queries, transformations, and data integration.
- Experience integrating Power BI with SQL, SharePoint, Excel, and other data sources.
- Hands-on experience with Power Apps or Power Automate.

Good-to-Have Skills:

- Familiarity with other BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView, or Looker.
- Knowledge of Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
- Experience with Power BI Embedded.
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for Power BI administration and automation.
- Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL, Azure Data Factory, or SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Understanding of data governance, data security, privacy, and compliance.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and cross-functional teams.
- Important Screening Guidelines
- Power BI is the primary skill and should account for approximately 70 % of the candidate's expertise.
- Candidates should have approximately 20-30% experience in either Power Apps or Power Automate . Experience in both is not mandatory.
- Strong hands-on Power BI development experience is essential.
- Candidates must be willing to work from Hyderabad.
