Role & responsibilities A Program Manager for Trust &

- Safety in E-Commerce protects online marketplaces, buyers, and sellers by designing safety policies, managing fraud/risk operations, and coordinating cross-functional technical solutions , Primary Mission: Prevent fraud, counterfeit goods, scams, account takeovers, and policy violations while balancing a smooth customer and seller experience. Cross-Functional Partners: Engineering, Data Science, Product Management, Legal, Policy, Customer Support, and Operations, Policy Development &
- Lifecycle: Create, update, and scale global safety, compliance, and content/listing policies for e-commerce platforms. Risk &
- Fraud Mitigation: Design monitoring frameworks to detect seller fraud, buyer abuse, payment risks, and regulatory non-compliance (such as the INFORM Consumers Act or product safety standards). Program Execution &
- Scaling: Drive complex, zero-to-one or large-scale operational initiatives from planning to production deployment. Data-Driven Optimization: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like precision and recall for automated moderation, false-positive rates,



and incident response times. Stakeholder Influence: Influence leadership and technical teams without direct authority to prioritize safety backlogs and resolve process bottlenecks. Spearhead business process improvements to positively affect operational efficiencies, Expertise in multi-front stakeholder management, Solid data-driven mindset to solve problems

Preferred candidate profile

- Must be from eCommerce Sector and should have 12+ years in program management, trust and safety, risk management, compliance, or e-commerce marketplaces.
- Technical & Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, risk modeling, workflow mapping, and familiarity with automated tools or machine learning safety systems.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of e-commerce regulations, consumer protection laws, vendor risk management, and content integrity.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Law, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
