Qualifications
- Essential: Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline from a recognized institute.
- Desired: Diploma / certificate in Fire Safety or Management, or Armed Forces officers' training.
Experience
- Essential: 2-7 years of experience in Industrial Security, or working experience in the Manufacturing Industry.
- Stable career history: not more than 2 employers in the last 5 years (service in the Armed Forces counts as one employer).
Responsibilities
- Strictly implement the department SOP related to men and material movement.
- Protect the company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
- Look for current security techniques and processes, and strive to implement effective security systems.
- Submit all required security reports to the Security Head and the management as and when required.
- Conduct routine patrolling and checking across the plant.
- Be responsible for the assigned areas of deployment, and minimize threats and risks on a day-to-day basis.
- Control and minimize accidents and thefts, and formulate mitigation plans to avoid them in future.
- Monitor the loading and unloading of all material, including raw materials and finished goods, by the gate security guards.
- Supervise traffic management in and around the plant premises to ensure accident-free traffic movement.
- Keep constant touch with local police stations and senior police officials for the security of the plant.
- Horticulture: ensure environment preservation and biodiversity, and maintain the greenery index of the plant.

Preferred Skill
- Armed Forces, Police or allied services background (ex-servicemen).
- Fire safety, first aid or fire-fighting training and certification.

- Good report writing and basic MS Office skills.
