Responsible for mould health monitoring, sparepart management, cost reduction initiatives, documentation control, andcontinuous improvement while ensuring compliance with quality and safetystandards.

Key Responsibilities MouldMaintenance Production Support

1. ` Monitor and control day-to-dayactivities of the Tool Room.

2. ` Review mould health status andinitiate corrective actions.

`

3. ` Execute preventive maintenance ofmoulds as per the approved maintenance schedule.

`

4. ` Ensure timely mould repair andrestoration to support production requirements.

`

5. ` Minimize mould breakdowns andensure zero customer line stoppage due to tooling issues.

`

6. ` Coordinate emergency breakdownmaintenance activities for moulds.

`

7. ` Visit outsourced suppliers/serviceproviders to review mould maintenance and repair activities.

`

Spare Management

1. ` Identify mould spare partrequirements based on mould condition.

`

2. ` Raise material indents based onapproved spare stock levels.

`

3. ` Maintain adequate inventory ofcritical mould spares to ensure uninterrupted operations.

`

Cost Optimization Improvement

1. ` Drive cost-saving initiativesthrough mould repair optimization and yield improvement.

`

2.



` Analysis mould failure trends andimplement corrective and preventive actions.

`

3. ` Implement Kaizen and continuousimprovement projects to enhance mould life and productivity.

`

DocumentationCompliance

1. ` Maintain daily mould maintenancelogbooks and service records.

`

2. ` Verify and review maintenancelogbooks maintained by the Tool Room team.

`

3. ` Maintain and update documents asper ISO, IATF 16949, VSA and internal requirements.

`

4. ` Ensure proper record retentionand traceability of maintenance activities.

`

1. ` Ensure implementation andsustenance of 5S practices within the Tool Room.

`

2. ` Follow all safety requirementsand support secure working practices during mould maintenance activities.

`

3. ` Work in shifts and providemaintenance support as assigned by the reporting superior.

Desired Technical Skills

- Injection mould maintenance and troubleshooting.

- Preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.

- Mould assembly, fitting, polishing, and repair.

- Understanding of hot runner systems, cooling circuits, lifters, sliders, and ejector systems.

- Knowledge of tooling materials and machining processes.

- Spare parts planning and inventory control.

- Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Why-Why Analysis, and CAPA implementation.

- Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA requirements.

SoftwareSkills

- SAP (PM/MM Module preferred).

- MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

- Maintenance record management systems.
