Job Title: SQL Developer – Pharmaceutical Commercial Domain

About the Role

NetworkPedia is seeking an experienced SQL Developer with pharmaceutical commercial domain knowledge to support enterprise reporting, analytics, and data quality initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL development and performance optimization skills, hands-on Tableau experience, and a solid understanding of pharmaceutical commercial operations and reporting platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction and enterprise reporting.
- Translate business requirements into efficient SQL queries and data models.
- Perform query performance tuning, troubleshoot data retrieval issues, and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Support database design, data modeling, segmentation, and data warehousing initiatives.
- Analyze and resolve reporting issues across databases, ETL/data integration, semantic layers, and front-end reporting tools.
- Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards, manage data sources, and optimize reporting performance.
- Reconcile data across multiple systems, investigate data quality issues, and coordinate root-cause resolution.
- Support production reporting platforms, incident management, user requests, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain technical documentation and communicate progress, issues, and timelines to stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

- 7+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries using technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or similar databases.
- 2+ years of hands-on Tableau experience, including dashboard development, data source management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Experience analyzing and resolving issues across the reporting stack,



including databases, ETL/data integration, semantic layers, and reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercial business processes, including Sales Operations, Territory Alignment, Customer Master Data, Call Activity, Sample Accountability, and Sales Performance Reporting.
- Experience supporting enterprise reporting and analytics platforms in production environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, data reconciliation, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Vertica.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical commercial data sources and platforms such as IQVIA, Symphony Health, Veeva CRM, and Veeva Align.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including star schema, snowflake schema, data marts, and data lakes.
- Experience with database modeling and segmentation techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience.
