We are looking for an experienced SPM Assembly Technician with hands-on experience in the assembly of Special Purpose Machines (SPM). Candidates must have practical experience in mechanical assembly, machine fitting, and installation of SPM components.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble Special Purpose Machines (SPM) as per engineering drawings.
- Perform mechanical fitting and assembly of machine components.
- Assemble jigs, fixtures, pneumatic cylinders, guide rails, bearings, and clamping mechanisms.
- Read and understand mechanical assembly drawings.
- Perform machine alignment, leveling, and adjustment.
- Support machine installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Identify and rectify mechanical assembly issues.
- Coordinate with design, electrical, and production teams.
- Ensure assembly quality and complete assigned work within project deadlines.
- Follow workplace safety and quality standards.
Required Skills
- SPM assembly experience is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience assembling Special Purpose Machines.
- Knowledge of mechanical fitting, alignment, and machine assembly.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of jigs, fixtures, pneumatic systems, and automation components.
- Experience using hand tools and measuring instruments.
Eligibility Criteria
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Only candidates with previous SPM assembly experience will be considered.
- Candidates with general assembly experience but no SPM experience are not eligible.
- Freshers are not eligible.
