Position: SPM Panel Wiring Technician

Location: Thirumullaivoyal, Chennai

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SPM Panel Wiring Technician with hands-on experience in electrical panel wiring for Special Purpose Machines (SPM). Candidates must have practical experience in panel wiring, electrical component installation, and machine wiring.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform electrical panel wiring for SPM machines and automation systems.
- Read and understand electrical circuit diagrams and wiring drawings.
- Carry out wiring of PLC panels, control panels, and electrical panels.
- Install and connect MCBs, MCCBs, contactors, relays, SMPS, terminal blocks, and other electrical components.
- Perform cable dressing, ferruling, crimping, and wire termination.
- Connect sensors, limit switches, solenoid valves, motors, and other field devices as per drawings.
- Identify wiring faults and carry out troubleshooting.
- Perform continuity checks and assist with electrical testing.




- Coordinate with the electrical and assembly teams during machine installation and commissioning.
- Follow electrical safety procedures and maintain wiring quality standards.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in SPM panel wiring is mandatory.
- Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of PLC control panels and industrial electrical components.
- Experience in cable routing, ferruling, crimping, and termination.
- Knowledge of electrical testing and troubleshooting.

Eligibility

- ITI / Diploma in Electrical or Electronics preferred.
- Only experienced candidates with relevant panel wiring experience will be considered.
- Freshers are not eligible for this position.
