Role Description This is a full time, on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist based in Chennai.

The Speech Language

Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat children with communication disorders, language disorders, and speech sound difficulties, as well as feeding and swallowing concerns such as dysphagia. Daily responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering one-on-one and group therapy sessions, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and monitoring progress.



The role also involves collaborating with occupational therapists, physical therapists, special educators, families, and caregivers to ensure integrated care, and providing guidance to families on home programs and strategies that support therapy goals.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Speech Therapy and Speech assessment and intervention.
- Candidates should possess skills in managing Communication Disorders and Language Disorders in children.
- Candidates should possess skills related to identifying and treating Dysphagia and other feeding and swallowing issues.
- Relevant master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, with appropriate licensure or registration as required.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in clinical, school, or rehabilitation settings is highly beneficial.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team and communicate clearly with families and caregivers.
- Strong record-keeping, ethical practice, and commitment to evidence-based, person-centered care.
