About the Role:

We are seeking a fluent and native Spanish-Speaking Legal Collections & Operations Specialist based in Delhi. Unlike traditional sales roles, this position focuses on debt collection, default resolution, merchant support, and legal administrative coordination for our Spanish-speaking client portfolio (US Hispanic / LATAM markets).

You will act as the primary liaison between defaulted/delinquent merchants, internal legal counsel, external attorneys, and operational teams to resolve payment defaults, negotiate workouts, and streamline back-office legal documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collection & Default Resolution: Contact non-paying or defaulted merchant business owners in Spanish to resolve missed daily/weekly

ACH payments, returned checks (NSFs), and account blockages.
- Legal Coordination & Attorney Assistance: Draft, review, and organize legal notices, confessions of judgment (COJs), settlement agreements, and breach notices in coordination with internal and external attorneys.
- Settlement Negotiation: Negotiate realistic payment plans,

restructuring options, and settlement agreements within authorized financial limits for defaulted accounts.
- Legal Administrative Support: Maintain court filing records, litigation status trackers, legal correspondence, and affidavit documentation for

Spanish-speaking accounts.
- Risk Monitoring & Skip Tracing: Utilize debt collection software, credit reports,



and public records to trace defaulted merchants and verify business assets.
- Cross-Functional Back-Office Support: Assist Spanish-speaking merchants with account inquiries, banking updates, and payment reconciliation while reporting portfolio risk metrics to management.

Key Requirements & Qualifications:

- Language Proficiency: C1/C2 Native or Near-Native Spanish fluency

(written and spoken) is required. Excellent written and spoken

Business English is essential for legal drafting.

- Industry Experience: 2+ years of experience in Collections, Legal

Operations, Recovery, or Back-Office Administration within Merchant

Cash Advance (MCA), NBFCs, US legal outsourcing (LPO), or financial services.

- MCA/NBFC Knowledge: Deep understanding of MCA default structures, factor rate repayment mechanisms, ACH returns (R01, R08,

R10 codes), COJs, and debt settlement protocols.
- Communication & Conflict Resolution: High emotional intelligence, firmness, and tact when negotiating with distressed or defaulted business owners.
- Technical Skills: Experience with CRM/collection systems (TCN,

DebtNet, Salesforce), MS Excel, and document management software.

• Work Shift: Ability to work shifts aligned with US/LATAM business hours (e.g., US Eastern Time) to communicate effectively with merchants and US legal counsel. It is an in-office position.

house process related to collections.
